How to Get the TM Solar Beam

TM22, also known as Solar Beam, is a recurring item in the "Pokemon" video game series that you can use to teach your Pokemon how to perform the Solar Beam ability. In the Generation V games, "Pokemon Black Version" and "Pokemon White Version," you can find TM22 in the Pinwheel Forest once you have access to a bicycle. The forest can be a bit confusing because it is quite expansive with many twists, turns and dead ends, so TM22 is easily overlooked unless you take the time to explore.

Instructions

- 1
  Go to the Pinwheel Forest. This is accessible via Nacrene City. Leave the city via the western exit to enter the forest. Head as far west as you can, until you get to the second large patch of grass.

  Go north, through the hollow log, then go under the large hollow log that acts like a ramp. Head west, south, then east up the large, ramp-like log. Head north down the second ramp-like log.

  Ride through the hollow log leading to the north. Go east until you reach the wide road with the white fencing on either side of it. Go slightly south until you find a hole in the eastern side of the fencing and pass through it.

  Go east, then ride the small ramp down to the patch of grass. Continue heading east until you reach another small ramp leading to a patch of grass with another ramp leading east.

  Ride the ramp up, then go down the eastern stairs and down two ramps to a patch of grass. The Poke Ball here contains TM22, Solar Beam.
