How to Leave Mahogany Town in Pokemon Silver

Move to the Radio Tower in Goldenrod City. Heal all Pokemon in your party and bring healing supplies with you. Move through each floor of the Radio Tower, defeating Team Rocket members who challenge you along the way. Ignore the locked door on the third floor and continue to advance to the top of the Radio Tower.

Speak to the man impersonating the director on the top floor. He's actually a Team Rocket executive in disguise. Beat him in battle to earn a key to the Underground Warehouse. Exit the Radio Tower on the bottom floor and enter the Underground Tunnel in Goldenrod City. Use the Underground Warehouse key to open a locked door in the eastern section of the Underground Tunnel.

Defeat your rival and all Team Rocket members in this room. Advance until you encounter switches in one of the rooms. Flip the left, center and right switches, respectively. Move southeast and defeat any Team Rocket members encountered. Move until you encounter the real director of the Radio Tower, who grants the player a key to access locked portions of the tower.

Return to the Radio Tower. Move to the third floor and unlock the door there. Move up each of the staircases, battling Team Rocket members until reaching the top floor. Players will encounter Rocket executives and Lance on the top floor. Defeat them in battle and Team Rocket will flee from the Radio Tower. The Radio Tower's Director grants the player the Silver Wing.

Use a Pokemon's "Fly" ability to return to Mahogany Town. Players can now move east out of town to go to the Ice Path and Blackthorn City.
