How to Get All Shards in Pokemon Pearl

"Pokemon Pearl" is in the fifth generation of Pokemon games for the Nintendo DS. Players must travel across the Pokemon universe collecting, battling and training Pokemon. There are special items that can be found along the way, such as the Pokemon shards. Shards are useless to players, but can be traded in-game for weather-changing TM moves. Shards are hidden underground, making them difficult if not impossible to find without the help of several friends. Certain shards are rarer than others, increasing the challenge. Fortunately, you can get all the shards at once with the use of the action replay device.

  Plug your action replay into your Nintendo DS then plug the other end into your computer. The code manager will automatically pop-up on your computer screen.

  Click "My Code List" then "Add New Code." Enter the code "74000130 03BD 820257C4 0030 74000130 03BD 820257C4 0031 74000130 03BD 820257C4 0032 74000130 03BD 820257C4 0033" then press "Save."

  Drag the code into the "Pokemon Pearl" folder located on the left of the code manager. Click "Yes" when prompted.

  Unplug the action replay from the Nintendo DS. Plug "Pokemon Pearl" into the DS, then press the "Star" button when prompted. Check the "Shard" code to activate it.

  Press "Start" to begin the game. Press "B" and "Up" simultaneously. Pause the game and navigate to your backpack. You will now have all of the Pokemon shards.
