How to Change Attire in Pokemon Diamond

The "Pokemon" franchise of video games has always offered a number of mini-games throughout the series. "Pokemon Diamond" for the Nintendo DS is no exception. Although it is not necessary to complete the game, dressing up your Pokemon in different attire is one of the interesting mini-games included in "Pokemon Diamond."

Instructions

  Progress to Hearthome City. You will naturally reach the city as you progress through "Pokemon Diamond." If you have not yet reached this city, you will not be able to change your attire.

  Gain access to the contest hall in Hearthome City. As you enter Hearthome City, a bunny will run up to you. Following the bunny, a trainer will arrive and bring up the topic of Hearthome City's contest hall. At this point, the contest hall will be accessible to you. It is located next to Hearthome City's gym. Alternatively, you can talk to the person standing at the intersection and he will lead you to the contest hall.

  Enter the dress-up contest. Talk to the person behind the counter in Hearthome City's contest hall and choose to enter the contest.

  Choose your Pokemon. The person will ask you to select the Pokemon to enter in the contest. Make your selection from the screen that appears, and the contest will begin.

  Dress your Pokemon. Passing the introduction to the contest, the announcer will ask you to put the proper attire on your Pokemon. Here, you can select any accessories you have acquired throughout the game for your Pokemon to wear. After selection, your Pokemon will appear in new attire.
