How to Get Rid of the Junk in My Garden on Viva Pinata for DS

"Viva Pinata" is a strategy game available on Nintendo DS. The touchscreen on the DS allows players to quickly care for the pinatas in a interactive farm environment. The majority of the tools used in the game are located in the upper right corner of the screen and can be accessed using the stylus. Some items can be destroyed or sold to Costalot for extra cash. While it is easy to destroy items, do so with care as they can not be retrieved once destroyed.

  Select the shovel from the tools menu located in the upper right corner of the screen.

  Choose the orange star icon to smash objects or select the dirt icon to allow the shovel to expose patches of dirt.

  Click-and-drag either the orange star or the dirt icon to the item you would like to remove or to the area you would like to clear to expose dirt. Release the icon while hovering over the item and watch it disappear. When an item is removed or smashed, it will sometimes add coins to the your main coin bank.
