How to Get a Togetic in Pokemon SoulSilver

Nintendo released "Pokemon SoulSilver" for the Nintendo DS in 2010. A remake of "Pokemon Silver," "SoulSilver" placed an emphasis on many of the earlier Pokemon, such as Togetic. Togetic is a Normal- and Flying-type Pokemon that is strong against Bug- and Fighting-type Pokemon, but weak against Rock- and Ice-type Pokemon. Togetic is an evolution of the Pokemon Togepi, a Pokemon that is given to you by Professor Elm's assistant when you reach Violet City. Togepi evolves into Togetic when he reaches the maximum happiness level. That is the only way to get a Togetic.

  Raise Togepi's happiness by feeding it vitamins such as Zinc and Iron, using it to win Pokemon battles and walking around with it as part of your active Pokemon group.

  Check Togepi's happiness by speaking to the Happiness Rater in Goldenrod City while Togepi is in the first position in your Pokemon lineup. Her house is north of the Bike Shop. If the Happiness Rater tells you that "It looks really happy! It must love you a lot!" then your Togepi has reached the maximum happiness rating.

  Win Pokemon battles with your Togepi until it gains a level. Upon gaining a new level, your Togepi automatically evolves into Togetic.
