How to Get Relicanth in Diamond

Relicanth is a Rock and Water-type Pokemon introduced in the third generation "Ruby," "Sapphire" and "Emerald" games for the Game Boy Advance. Its Swift Swim ability doubles its Speed in rainy weather, while its Rock Head ability allows it to use otherwise self-damaging attacks, such as Double-Edge and Head Smash without losing health points (HPs). In the "Diamond" and "Pearl" games for the Nintendo DS, players can find Relicanth on Route 226 after completing several requisite tasks.

Instructions

  Defeat the Elite Four and the Pokemon League Champion. See all 210 Pokemon in the Sinnoh Pokedex and fly to Sandgem Town.

  Enter the Pokemon Laboratory and talk to Professor Rowan. Professor Oak will arrive and give you the National Pokedex

  Fly to Snowpoint City and ride the ship to the Fight Area. Talk to the fisherman near the gate to obtain the Super Rod.

  Head north through Route 225, then east to reach the Survival Area. Continue east onto Route 226.

  Use "Rock Climb" to make your way across the cliffs. Stand next to the water and use the Super Rod until you hook a Relicanth.
- 6
  Lower Relicanth's HP into the red zone and inflict it with either Paralysis or Sleep. Throw Pokeballs at Relicanth until it is caught.
