How to Get Wave Incense in Diamond

The "Wave Incense" is a special item found in the Nintendo DS role-playing game "Pokemon: Diamond." The item is used when breeding certain Pokemon. While holding the Wave Incense, the Pokemon named Mantine will produce an offspring called Mantyke, instead of another Mantine. The Wave Incense is useful even if you do not plan on using it while breeding, as it raises the power of all water attacks for the Pokemon holding it.

Instructions

  Play the game until you have defeated the gym leader in Sunyshore City. Exit the gym, and walk to the right and down the stairs. Go left at the bottom, then up, and speak to Jasmine -- the girl standing there. She will give you the Waterfall move.

  Go to Route 210 -- situated between Celestic and Solaceon Towns. Use your Surf move to enter the water, and use the move you learned from Jasmine on the second waterfall to go up.

  Continue along the stream until you see a Pokeball with the Wave Incense inside it. Stand in front of the Pokeball, and press the "A" button to pick it up.
