How to Get Darkrai on Pokemon Diamond Without Going to an Event or Cheats

Darkrai, a legendary Dark Pokemon, is obtainable in "Pokemon Diamond" through the use of a Member's Pass or with an Action Replay cheating device. As the Nintendo Event for the Member's Pass is no longer held, the only way to obtain Darkrai without cheating is through trading. If you know someone who has a Darkrai, you can easily trade him or her any Pokemon to obtain it.

Instructions

  Make your way to a Pokemon Center in the game. There is a Pokemon Center in nearly every city in "Pokemon Diamond" and they all have trading centers, so you do not need to go to any specific one. Have your trading partner do the same.

  Enter the Pokemon Center and speak with the trade attendant in the center of the second floor. Save your game. Select "Yes" to enter the trading room. Make sure your trading partner does the same.

  Select the Pokemon you wish to trade for Darkrai and have your trading partner select Darkrai.

  Select "Confirm" to initiate the trade. When it is over, Darkrai will be in your group.
