How to Get Rotom Out of the TV in Pokemon: Platinum

Rotom, the plasma Pokemon, can only be found in one lonely location at a specific time in "Pokemon Platinum." A Rotom is the only ghost- and electric-type Pokemon in existence. It has a unique ability that it uses to take the form of other appliances including lawn mowers, electrical fans and ovens. This versatile Pokemon can be difficult to find if you don't know how to lure it from its hiding place inside an abandoned TV set.

  Wait for night time in your saved file of "Pokemon Platinum." Night falls at 7 p.m. and Pokemon trainers should keep an eye out for the Pokemon that come out to play after dark.

  Enter the Old Chateau. This deserted mansion is located on the north end of Eterna Forest.

  Climb the stairs and go into the second room on the second floor. Walk up to the television and press the "A" button to lure Rotom out of the TV. This will start a Pokemon battle so you can catch Rotom in a Pokeball.
