How Do You Get to the Bottom After You Are in Snowpoint Temple?

Snowpoint Temple houses the legendary Pokemon Regigigas in "Platinum," "Diamond" and "Pearl." The Pokedex describes Regigigas as a creature so massive, at 12 feet tall and nearly 1,000 lbs., that it could once pull continents around the globe. In "Pearl" and "Diamond," Regigigas appears at Level 70; in "Platinum," it appears at Level 1. Players must first acquire the Pokemon Regirock, Registeel and Regice. Keep these three Pokemon in your party when traveling to Snowpoint Temple. Players should keep Pokemon in the party that know "Rock Smash" and "Strength."

Instructions

    • 1

Complete the Sinnoh Pokedex in "Platinum" by seeing all 210 Pokemon. This will earn players the National Pokedex, which is required to enter Snowpoint Temple. In "Diamond" and "Pearl," players must see all 150 Pokemon in the Sinnoh Pokedex to earn the National Pokedex. Travel to Snowpoint Temple, located north of Snowpoint City.

    • 2

Exit the first room by taking the stairs on the upper right corner of the screen. This will lead players to the second floor. Players will find random encounters on every floor of Snowpoint Temple; players can fight or choose to run from the battle, preserving the party's health for the battle against Regigigas.

    • 3

Glide across the ice on the second floor to reach the right side of the room. Take the staircase down to the third floor. Enter the third floor. Use "Rock Smash" on the two rocks on the third floor to move quickly through the room. There are two patches of ice; one on either side of the room. Approach the patch of ice on the right side of the room from the south and glide across it. The player now stands to the north of the ice patch.

    • 4

Move to stand to the left of the ice patch. Glide east across it and walk to the staircase on the right side of the room to enter the fourth floor.

    • 5

Look at the big ice patch on the first floor. From the left, glide south down the second column of ice tiles. A rock in your way will stop you. Move west, then north and then east. A rock will stop the player after each movement. Move north and you'll reach the staircase that leads to the fifth floor.

    • 6

Enter the fifth floor. Use a Pokemon's "Strength" ability to move the stones out of your way. Move to the top right corner of the room and take that staircase down to the sixth floor, or B5F, where Regigigas dwells.

    • 7

Exit the staircase. Immediately move one tile space to the left. Move south onto the ice tiles, gliding until you reach a patch of solid land. Move south, then east, then north and then west, with a rock in the way to stop you after each movement. Move south and then east. Walk upward to land on solid ground. Save your game. Approach Regigigas and speak to it.

    • 8

Use Pokemon in your party to weaken Regigigas. Bug and flying-type Pokemon are particularly successful against Regigigas. Weaken it and use a Pokeball to capture it.
