How to Get a Horse in Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise

"Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise" features many pinatas that are animal-themed, including one named Horstachio who is designed to look like a horse. Horstachio does not appear until over halfway through the game and has simple resident requirements. Besides being the only horse pinata in the game, Horstachio is one of the few pinatas that can evolve into a new species. Having this pinata in your garden is also the only way to make certain pinatas appear. If you want to collect all of the game's pinatas, then you are going to want a Horstachio.

     Play through the game until level six.

     Buy a Ponocky from Gretchen and put it in your garden. Horstachios are attracted to Ponockys and will only visit your garden if you have a Ponocky and 500 pinometers of grass in your garden.

     Feed the Horstachio eight apples. Feeding the Horstachio eight apples will change its status from visitor to resident and it will now become a permanent part of your garden.
