How to Get Arceus in Pearl Without Cheating

Arceus is a mythical Pokemon and is thought of as the creator of the Pokemon world. His multiple attacks, ability to change state and benevolent nature make him a great asset to your Pokemon collection in "Pokemon Pearl" for the Nintendo DS. Catching Arceus is fairly straightforward as long as you know where to look and how to coax him out of hiding. He puts up a decent fight as well, so having a good strategy prior to engaging in battle will give you a better chance at making a capture.

Instructions

  Enter any Pokemart in the game and speak to a man standing in the corner wearing green to obtain the Azure flute.

  Purchase a Master Ball from the Pokemart clerk for a better chance at capturing Arceus at the conclusion of your battle with him.

  Travel to Spear Pillar, where you fought Dialga and Palkia. Walk to the top of the pillar and the flute will automatically play to reveal a secret staircase.

  Walk up the staircase to find Arceus; he will engage in battle with you immediately.
- 5
  Use your most powerful Pokemon to battle with Arceus, since he's level 80 and very powerful. Weaken him with a few attacks and throw the master ball at him to attempt a capture. If this fails weaken him more and attempt a capture again.
