How to Get the Cop in the Radio Tower to Leave in Pokemon Soul Silver

Team Rocket overtakes the Radio Tower in Goldenrod City to broadcast a message to its missing boss, Giovanni, in "Pokemon: SoulSilver." Players must use a Pokemon's "Fly" ability to gain access to Goldenrod City, where Team Rocket has occupied most buildings and blocks citizens from entering. A guard at the Radio Tower prevents the player from gaining access. A disguise taken from an unwary photographer, however, can lend the player enough authenticity to get rid of the Radio Tower's guard.

Instructions

  Earn the Glacier Badge in Mahogany Town's Gym. Exit the gym to receive a phone call from Professor Elm, who informs the player that Team Rocket has overtaken the Radio Tower in Goldenrod City. Head to the Radio Tower in Goldenrod City. The guard at the door will turn you away if you speak with him. Head directly south from the Radio Tower and enter the small building.

  Move down the stairs in the small building to enter an underground tunnel. Move south through the tunnels. Head to the right in the tunnel when the path opens. Continue until you encounter a photographer.

  Read the exchange with the photographer, who mistakenly believes the player is one of Team Rocket's newest recruits. The photographer gives the player a Team Rocket Uniform. Travel through the tunnels again to return to the small building. Exit and head north to the Radio Tower.

  Speak to the guard in front of the Radio Tower. The guard will recognize the uniform and move out of the way, allowing the player entry into the Radio Tower. The player encounters his rival, who dismantles his disguise upon entry to the Radio Tower. The player must battle several Team Rocket members.
