How to Get Darkrai in the GTS

In the fourth and fifth generation of Pokemon games, all released for the Nintendo DS, you can trade online using the Global Trading Station (GTS). The only thing required to trade online is a wireless Internet connection. Using the GTS, you can obtain the rarest of Pokemon, one of which is Darkrai. Darkrai is a Dark-type legendary Pokemon. You can obtain a Darkrai by seeking one or depositing a Pokemon and asking for one.

Instructions

  Go to any Pokemon Center and talk to the trade attendant.

  Select "Global Trade" and save the game.

  Select either "Seek Pokemon" or "Deposit Pokemon." If you seek a Pokemon, you can search for Darkrai and trade for it by giving the other person a Pokemon he is seeking. If you deposit a Pokemon, you can specify that you only want a Darkrai for that Pokemon.

  Complete the trade by selecting "Confirm." Once the trade is finished, Darkrai will be in your party.
