How to Get to the Man With the TM Hidden Power in Pokemon SoulSilver

Like many of its predecessors in the "Pokemon" series, "Pokemon SoulSilver" contains the Technical Machine, or TM, Hidden Power. Unlike most TMs, Hidden Power's effect varies from Pokemon to Pokemon. While teaching the move to one Pokemon results in an Ice-type move, teaching it to another Pokemon results in a Fighting-type move. Hidden Power bases its final result of a secret calculation derived from your Pokemon's current stats. Typically, the only way to determine the final result of Hidden Power is by asking the man who resides in the Celadon City game corner.

Instructions

- 1
  Exit Mahogany Town and enter Route 43. Walk toward the end of the route, and fight the trainers along the way when necessary.

  Enter the Lake of Rage, located at the end of Route 43. Navigate the maze and enter the house at its end.

  Walk up to the man who sits inside the house, and press the "A" button. He gives you the TM Hidden Power.

  Fly to Celadon City.

  Place the Pokemon whose hidden power you wish to discover in your first slot.

  Enter the Celdon Game Corner and walk toward the prize exchange area. Locate the man who sits in the corner.
- 7
  Walk up to the man and press the "A" button. He tells you the Pokemon's hidden power.
