How to Get in Veilstone City on Galactic HQ

Veilstone City is a major city in the Sinnoh region in the "Diamond," "Pearl," and "Platinum" Pokemon games for the Nintendo DS. The city's attractions include the Veilstone Department Store, Game Corner, and Veilstone City Gym. A woman in a house to the south will give free massages to a player's Pokemon once a day. A giant locked building in the northern region of the city serves as headquarters to Team Galactic. Players can access the headquarters after visiting all three of Sinnoh's lakes.

Instructions

  Defeat Byron in the Canalave City Gym. Meet with Professor Rowan, Dawn, and your rival in the Canalave Library.

  Fly to Pastoria City and head northeast to reach the Valor Lakefront. Head east, north down the steps, and west into the trees to reach Lake Valor.

  Defeat the Galactic Grunts and enter the cave in the center of the lakebed. Talk to Battle Commander Saturn, and use Dark, Fire, Ground, and Psychic-type attacks to defeat his team.

  Fly to Twinleaf Town and head northwest to reach Lake Verity. Engage Battle Commander Mars in battle, and use Electric, Fighting, and Fire-type attacks to defeat his team.

  Enter Mt. Coronet from Route 211. Use "Strength" and "Rock Smash" to clear the path. Follow the path north to reach Route 216.

  Head west until you see a small cabin, then head north onto Route 217. Continue north to reach the Acuity Lakefront, then head east to reach Snowpoint City.

  Enter the Snowpoint Gym and use Fighting, Fire, and Flying-type attacks to defeat Gym Leader Candice. Head back to the Acuity Lakefront, and go north from the sign to reach Lake Acuity. Talk to your rival, and fly to Veilstone City.

  Approach the Galactic HQ and talk to the Galactic Grunt near the satellite dish to obtain the Storage Key. Use the key to enter the Galactic Warehouse north of the Veilstone Department Store.

  Follow the stairs to reach the Galactic Key. Exit the Galactic Warehouse, and use the Galactic Key to enter the Galactic HQ.
