How to Get Across the Bay to Get in Sunyshore City in Pokemon Pearl Version

Sunyshore City is a major city in the Sinnoh region in the "Diamond," "Pearl," and "Platinum" Pokemon games for the Nintendo DS. It is home to the Sunyshore Market, the Vista Lighthouse, and the Sunyshore Gym. A woman named Julia, who lives in a house to the northeast, will give a player's Pokemon a ribbon for every day of the week, and the Olivine City gym leader Jasmine will give the player Hidden Machine (HM) 07 (Waterfall) after the player obtains the Beacon Badge. Players cannot access the bay route connecting Valor Lakefront to Sunyshore City until Team Galactic is foiled at Mt. Coronet.

     Climb to the top of Mt. Coronet, defeating any Galactic Grunts who challenge you. Team up with your rival and use Electric, Fighting, Fire and Rock-type moves to defeat Battle Commanders Mars and Jupiter.

     Defeat Galactic Boss Cyrus with super-effective attacks. Defeat or capture Palkia and fly to Pastoria City.

     Exit Pastoria to the east and head northeast to reach the Valor Lakefront. Continue north until you reach a dead end, then head east onto Route 222.

     Continue east, defeating the trainers as necessary, to reach Sunyshore City.
