How to Get the Radio Card for Kanto in Pokemon SoulSilver

In "Pokemon SoulSilver" for the Nintendo DS, you mainly play through the land of Johto. Once you have completed the main game, you are allowed to travel to Kanto, the region where "Pokemon Red" and "Pokemon Blue" took place. As this is a new region, your radio won't be fully functional. To gain access to the Kanto Radio card, you must complete the Power Plant mission. Once you have the Kanto Radio card, you can awaken any sleeping Pokemon that blocks your path.

Instructions

- 1
  Travel to the Power Plant south of the entrance to Rock Tunnel. You will need a Pokemon that knows the move "Surf" to enter the Power Plant.

  Speak with the Power Plant attendant who will inform you that an important piece of machinery is missing. Travel to Cerulean City and enter the Cerulean Gym in the center of the city. A Rocket Grunt will come out and run away.

  Chase the Rocket Grunt to the bridge north of Cerulean City. Battle and defeat him to learn of the location of the missing piece.

  Go back to the Cerulean Gym and inspect the pile of inner tubes at the northern part of the gym. The piece will be there.

  Travel back to the Power Plant and give the piece to the attendant. With the Power Plant now operational, go to Lavender Town. Talk to the man in the tower and he will give you the Kanto Radio card.
