How to Get a Cherrim in Pokemon Pearl Without the League

Cherrim is a grass-type Pokemon introduced in the fourth-generation "Diamond," "Pearl" and "Platinum" games for the Nintendo DS. It is the evolved form of Cherubi. Cherrim's special attack and speed are slightly above average, while the rest of its stats are mediocre at best. In battle, Cherrim can run a standard grass Pokemon move set, with attacks such as Leech Seed, Sunny Day, Solarbeam and Grass Knot. In "Diamond" and "Pearl," players can obtain Cherrim without beating the Pokemon League by slathering trees with honey.

Instructions

    • 1

Head east from Floaroma Town to reach the Valley Windworks. Defeat the guard at the entrance and head west back to Floaroma. Go to the northwest corner of town and defeat the pair of Galactic Grunts blocking the entrance to the Floaroma Meadow.

    • 2

Talk to the Meadow Keeper and buy 20 or more bottles of honey. Slather honey on as many golden trees as you can, then check the trees for Pokemon in about 12 hours.

    • 3

Repeat Step 2 until you find a Cherubi. Capture the Cherubi with a Poke Ball, then raise it to Level 25 by battling trainers and wild Pokemon to evolve it into a Cherrim.
