How to Get a Friendship Checker on Pokemon Diamond

In "Pokemon Diamond," every Pokemon you own has a hidden value that represents Happiness, Tameness and Friendship. The higher the hidden value, the friendlier the Pokemon is toward you. Although you can't find out the exact number of the value, you can use the Friendship Checker to gauge the general level of your Pokemon's friendliness, which the Poketch App represents with hearts.

Instructions

- 1
  Go to Oreburgh City, which is east of the Oreburgh Gate.

  Train a Water-, Grass- or Fighting-type Pokemon to Level 16.

  Defeat Roark's Geodude, Onix and Rampardos to get the Coal Badge.

  Head to Jublife City and travel north to reach Eterna Forest, where you will meet Cheryl, the second Gym Leader. Fight the Pokemon Trainers and wild Pokemon.

  Exit Eterna Forest to enter Eterna City.
- 6
  Go to the PokeCenter in Eterna City. Speak to the woman inside the building; she will give you the Friendship Checker, which is Poketch App #6.
