How to Get a Pamtre Berry in Pearl

"Pokemon: Pearl Version" is a fourth-generation "Pokemon" game that takes place in Sinnoh. Because you'll find loamy soil in Sinnoh, you can grow fruit there like the Pamtre berry. The Pamtre berry is a sweet, large and soft fruit that you can use to cook Poffins. You can obtain your first Pamtre berry at the Amity Square. If you walk a certain number of steps with a particular type of Pokemon, you may pick up a Pamtre berry.

Instructions

  Create a new "Pokemon: Pearl Version" save file and choose Piplup, Chimchar or Turtwig as your starter. Win the Coal Badge and the Cobble Badge from Roark of Oreburgh City and Gardenia of Eterna City. Head south of Eterna City to reach Route 206.

  Ride your bike down Route 206, Cycling Road. Exit Route 206 and enter Route 207. Dawn will give you the Vs. Seeker. Navigate through Route 207 and Route 208 to reach Hearthome City. Heal your Pokemon at the PokeCenter.

  Place one of the following Pokemon in your party: Pikachu, Clefairy, Psyduck, Torchic, Parchirisu, Buneary, Drifloon, Skitty, Shroomish, Jigglypuff or Happiny.

  Go to the northeastern or northwestern part of Hearthome City and enter Amity Square. Choose a cute Pokemon to take on a walk. Switch your Poketch to App #4, which is the Step Counter.

  Touch the "Clear" button to reset the counter to zero. Speak to your Pokemon each time the Step Counter displays "200." Repeat this process until the Pokemon gives you a Pamtre berry.
