How to Get Hoenn Starter in Pokemon Diamond

The three Hoenn starters from "Pokemon Ruby" and "Pokemon Sapphire" are not normally available in "Pokemon Diamond" for the Nintendo DS. Treecko, the Grass-type lizard Pokemon; Mudkip, the Water-type amphibian; and Torchic, the Fire-type bird Pokemon are the three Hoenn starters. To obtain them, you must use an Action Replay hacking device.

  Connect "Pokemon Diamond" to the Action Replay hacking device.

  Connect the Action Replay hacking device to your Nintendo DS, by inserting it into the game-cartridge slot.

  Turn on your DS system, and select the Action Replay on-screen icon.
