In "Pokemon SoulSilver" for the Nintendo DS, you use Pokeballs to capture Pokemon. As you progress through the game, you can purchase different Pokeballs for different occasions. The Quick Ball, for example, works best if used within the first three turns of battle. The Net Ball works best on Water-type Pokemon and Bug-type Pokemon. Not all Pokeballs are available at all Pokemarts. To buy different Pokeballs, you must go to different cities.

Travel to any city that has a Pokemart. If you have a Pokemon that knows the battle move "Fly," you can travel at a faster pace.

Enter the Pokemart to view the Pokeballs available in that store.

Purchase different Pokeballs by highlighting them with the cursor and pressing the "A" button. The more powerful a Pokeball is, the more money it will cost.
