How to Download DSi Movies

  Sign up for the DSi Downloads Center. Either choose the $39 lifetime membership plan or the $29 six month plan.

  Search through the titles available for download on the DSi Downloads Center site. Choose the movies you want to download and add them to your download queue.

  Download the movies directly to the media storage card in your DSi. Click on the name of the movie file you want to download. Verify the download location (your DSi flash memory) and click "download."

  Open the DSi interface and choose the movie file to play.

Using Sakura or Moonshell Media Player

  Download and install K Lite Codec Pack 4.17 Full, AviSynth, Microsoft.Net framework 3.0 and Batch DPG version 1.55. Links to these programs can be found in the resources section.

  Open Batch DPG. Browse your computer for the video file that you would like to watch on your DSi. Select "Settings" and change the profile to "Ultra."

  Choose a destination directory for the output file. Make sure this is somewhere you will be able to easily remember, because your DSi ready file will be saved there.

  Save the new settings and close the settings menu in Batch DPG. Choose the "Run" option to begin the movie encoding process.

  Insert a mini SD card or compact flash card in your computer. Move the file from your hard drive onto the removable media.

  Place the Sakura or Moonshell media player into the DSi. Then place the removable media from the computer into the Sakura or Moonshell player.

  Choose the DPG formatted movie from the DSi menu.
