How to Get a DSi to Play MP3s

In addition to playing video games, you can use your Nintendo DSi to listen to your favorite songs on the go. The handheld gaming system, however, is not compatible with MP3 files. To transfer and listen to your MP3 collection on your DSi, convert your MP3 files to AAC format. The conversion process is hassle-free and can be completed by using a free third-party audio conversion program. After converting your MP3s to AAC format, insert your microSD card in your computer and use the drag-and-drop method to transfer the tracks to your DSi.
