How to Get New Breeds on Nintendogs

"Nintendogs" is a reality pet simulation video game developed by Nintendo. The game is played on the Nintendo DS game console. As an owner, you will play, train, walk, and groom your virtual dog. There are also voice commands used via the console's built in microphone. Speak a command to your virtual puppy and he will understand you. As a trainer, you will receive virtual money and trainer points. Gain enough trainer points to unlock more dog breeds to adopt.

Instructions

  Care for your existing dog. Bathe your existing dog, feed him and take your dog for walks. If you keep caring for your existing dog, you will unlock new breeds that have a resemblance to the existing dog you have been caring for.

  Go to "Bark Mode." Choose a friend with the breed of dog you want to unlock and meet up with the friend. When you leave "Bark Mode," you will receive that new breed.

  Gain trainer points. If you gain 2000 points, you will receive a new breed. Gain trainer points by rubbing a dog's belly, entering your dog in a dog contest, and using play items to entertain your dog.
