How to Get All Key Items in Platinum Diamond

Slide the "Pokemon Platinum" cartridge or the "Pokemon Diamond" cartridge into the Nintendo DS Action Replay.

Slide the Action Replay into the Nintendo DS game-card opening slot located above the bottom screen of the DS.

Turn on the Nintendo DS handheld by pressing the "Power" button located at the top corner of the bottom portion of the DS.

Select the Action Replay icon, and press "A" or simply touch the icon on the bottom screen.
