How to Get a Finneon on Pokemon Pearl

Finneon is a water-type Pokemon that evolves into the beautiful Lumineon. Finneon is fairly common and can be found in many places throughout "Pokemon: Pearl." The only item needed to capture Finneon is a Good Rod, which can be obtained by talking to the Fishing Guru. With the Good Rod, you can begin fishing and encounter a Finneon within a matter of seconds. Once a Finneon appears, you can use a Pokeball to capture it.

Instructions

  Travel to Route 228 with the Good Rod. Although Finneon can be found in practically any body of water in the game, it is most common in the water aloung Route 228.

  Go the water and select the Good Rod from your bag. Fish until you encounter a Finneon. As Finneon has a 70 percent encounter rate on Route 228, it should not take long to find one.
- 3
  Use an electric- or grass-type Pokemon to weaken Finneon, then use any Pokeball to capture it. Ultraballs, Dive Balls and Net Balls work best on Finneon.
