How to Catch Misdreavus in Pearl

"Pokemon: Pearl" features hundreds of collectable Pokemon. Misdreavus is a haunting Pokemon that only comes out at night, and then only in scary locations. The first place you can encounter a Misdreavus is in the Eterna Forest. Here, it appears semifrequently so long as the sun has already set. You can catch it as you would any other Pokemon: by engaging it in battle, hurting it with a few attacks and then tossing Pokeballs until you've captured it.

  Purchase at least 10 Pokeballs. You can find them at any store in any town in the game.

  Travel to Eterna Forest, located along Route 205. Time your hike so you arrive in the forest at night.

  Wander around the forest until you get into a fight. You have a one-in-five chance of encountering a Misdreavus. If it's not a Misdreavus, deal with the Pokemon as you wish and then continue looking for your query.

  Attack the Misdreavus until its health bar turns yellow or red. Weakening the Pokemon improves your odds of catching it.

  Throw Pokeballs at the Misdreavus until you've captured it.
