How to Get a Magnezone in Pokemon SoulSilver

With its incredible offensive power and great defenses, Magnezone is a highly sought-after Pokemon that can turn the tide of a battle. First introduced in the Diamond, Pearl and Platinum Pokemon games, Magnezone is an electric and steel-type Pokemon that is obtained in a very unusual way. A player must take a Magneton Pokemon at level 30 or above to Mt. Coronet in the Sinnoh region and have it gain experience points there until it gains a level. Because the Sinnoh region cannot be accessed in "Pokemon SoulSilver," SoulSilver players must trade with other players to obtain a Magnezone of their own.

Instructions

  Obtain a Magneton that is at least level 30. You can catch Magneton in Cerulean Cave or the Safari Zone. Alternatively, you can catch a Magnemite in Route 6, Route 11, Route 38, Route 39 or the Safari Zone and evolve the Magnemite to a Magneton by raising its level to 30.

  Trade your Magneton to your friend's copy of Pokemon Diamond, Pearl or Platinum. Have them take your Magneton to Mt. Coronet and raise its level by one. Mt. Coronet's strange magnetic field will evolve your Magneton to a Magnezone.

  Trade with your friend again, giving back the Pokemon lent to you in return for your newly evolved Magnezone.
