How to Get 16 Badges in Pokémon SoulSilver

"Pokemon SoulSilver" is the 2009 remake of the 1999 game "Pokemon Silver." As in the original game, the evil Team Rocket's attempt to take over the world is the game's major plot device. "SoulSilver" retains all the original game's aspects, while sporting more advanced graphics, mechanics and other technical features. Some aspects of "Pokemon Crystal," which was released after "Pokemon Silver" and before "Pokemon SoulSilver," are included in "SoulSilver" as side quests and mini-adventures.

Instructions

- 1
  Collect the first eight badges by defeating the eight gym leaders of the Johto region, where the game begins. After you have defeated the eighth gym leader, Professor Elm will give you the Master Ball.

  Travel to Ecruteak City and defeat the Pokemon trainers there and learn about Lugia, "SoulSilver's" important legendary Pokemon.

  Travel to the Whirl Islands to battle and capture Lugia.

  Unlock the Kanto region by traveling to Victory Road and defeating the Elite Four. After you beat the Elite Four, watch the post-game credits.

  Restart your game and you will be back inside your home in your home city. Professor Elm will be waiting for you in his lab. He will give you the boat ticket necessary to travel to the Kanto region.
- 6
  Defeat all eight gym leaders of the Kanto region to finish your collection of all 16 badges.
