How to Get All the Regis in SoulSilver

Nicknamed the "Regi" Pokemon, Registeel, Regirock and Regice are rock-type Pokemon that originally appeared in the Game Boy Advance games "Ruby," "Emerald" and "Sapphire." A fourth "Regi" Pokemon, Regigigas, appears in several of the Nintendo DS "Pokemon" games. While the four Pokemon may not appear naturally in "SoulSilver," all can be traded to "SoulSilver" from various other "Pokemon" games. Use a combination of water and fighting-type Pokemon for the best odds of success when facing Registeel, Regirock, Regice or Regigigas.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert "Ruby," "Sapphire" or "Emerald" into the Game Boy Advance or Nintendo DS systems. Turn on the system. Defeat the Elite Four. Travel along Route 120 until you see the Ancient Tomb, located on the bottom left of the screen. Enter the tomb and read the plaque in the first room. Move to the room's center tile and use a Pokemon's "Flash" ability.

    • 2

Enter the door that appears in the room. Registeel appears at Level 40. Weaken it and use a Pokeball to capture it. Save your game and proceed to Route 111's desert area. Head south. An earthquake should occur. A door appears in a mountainous peak in the desert. Enter the door and read the passage located on the north side of the room.

    • 3

Move left twice and down twice immediately after reading the passage. Use a Pokemon's "Rock Smash" ability. A door will open. Regirock appears in the next room at Level 40. Use water-type Pokemon to weaken it. Use a Pokeball to capture it and save your game. Head to Route 105's Island Cave.

    • 4

Read the inscription in the Island Cave's first room. Keep close to the wall and run around the room once. Once completed, a door opens. Enter the next room. Regice appears at Level 40. Use water-type Pokemon to weaken Regice and capture it. Save your game and turn off the system.

    • 5

Insert "Platinum," "Pearl" or "Diamond" into the DS slot of the Nintendo DS. Insert "Ruby," "Emerald" or "Sapphire" in the GBA slot of the Nintendo DS. Turn on the system. From the main menu, select "Migrate From..." and choose "Ruby," "Emerald," or "Sapphire." Select "Registeel," "Regirock," and "Regice" to migrate to "Platinum," "Diamond" or "Pearl." Travel to the Pal Park to complete the migration from the Game Boy Advance game to the Nintendo DS game.

    • 6

Keep Regirock, Registeel and Regice in your Pokemon party in "Diamond," "Pearl" or "Platinum." Travel to the Snowpoint Temple, located in the Sinnoh region. When the player reaches the fifth basement floor, B5F, examine the statue in the center of the room. Regigigas revives at Level 70. Weaken it in battle and capture it using a Pokeball. Save your game.

Enlist a friend's assistance. Insert "SoulSilver" into a second Nintendo DS. Both you and your friend should obtain the Pal Pad from the Oreburgh City Pokemon Center to enable trading with your friend. Select the "Pal Pad" from the "Key Items" list. Select "Code" to give your code to your friend. Select "Register Friend Code" to enter your friend's code.
