How to Get 2000 Coins From the Game Corner in Pokemon HeartGold

Non-Japanese Version

  Go to the Game Corner. It is located in Goldenrod city in Johto.

  Enter the Game Corner and select to play Voltorb Flip.The screen will change to the minigame screen. There are tiles arranged in a five-by-five grid pattern.

  Select a tile to turn it over. Tiles may either be a Voltorb -- causing the player to lose -- or a multiplier -- multiplying the player's current score by that number.

  Continue turning over tiles until all the multiplier numbers have been found. The numbers located at the end of each row tell the player how many Voltorbs and multipliers are in each row. Assign a tile a flag if you suspect it contains a Voltorb to avoid accidentally turning it over.

  Progress through the levels earning more and more coins. After each game, check your inventory to see how many coins you have earned. Once you reach 2,000, go to the front desk and turn in your coins for prizes.

Japanese Version

  Go to the Game Corner in Goldenrod City in Johto.

  Walk up to a slot machine and choose to play. Select the number of coins you will use to play -- one, two or three.

  Stop the slots by pressing "A." If the slots land on a recognized pattern, normally three of each symbol, the machine will pay out. The highest payout is three sevens and three Pokeballs. Both of these give you 100 coins.
