How to Get a Pokeball in Pokemon SoulSilver

Various Pokeballs exist in the "Pokemon" universe, from those that can increase a Pokemon's happiness when it is caught inside it, to Pokeballs that ease the process of capturing fast Pokemon. In "Pokemon: SoulSilver," a non-player character named Kurt can create seven different Pokeballs using apricorns. Apricorn trees dot the Johto landscape, but players can only pluck a single apricorn from a tree each day. Players can also purchase all of the various apricorns at a specialty shop for 200P each.

  Collect red apricorns in Fuschia City or along Routes 37 and 44 to create the Level Ball, which increases the odds of capture as the level difference between your Pokemon and the target Pokemon grows wider. Players also can purchase red apricorns from the Pokeathlon Dome, located west of National Park, on Monday, Friday and Sunday.

  Acquire black apricorns along Routes 1, 31, 33, 37 and 43 to craft the Heavy Ball, which increases the player's likelihood of capturing heavier Pokemon. The Pokeathlon Dome sells black apricorns on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.

  Purchase white apricorns on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from the Pokeathlon Dome. Players can also find white apricorns in the wild along Route 38, and in Pewter City and Azalea Town. These apricorns create the Fast Ball, designed to increase the chances of capturing fast Pokemon.

  Buy pink apricorns to create the Love Ball on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from the Pokeathlon Dome. Players can also find pink apricorns along Routes 2. 30, 33 and 42. The Love Ball works best on target Pokemon that are the opposite gender of your Pokemon in battle.

  Create the Lure Ball from blue apricorns, which are found along Routes 26, 36 and 37. Blue apricorns also appear in Pewter City. Players can purchase blue apricorns from the Pokeathlon Dome on Monday, Wednesday and Sunday. The Lure Ball increases the likelihood of capture if the target Pokemon appeared after using a fishing rod.

  Find green apricorns along Routes 11, 29, 30, 35, 39, 42 and 46 to create the Friend Ball, which makes the target Pokemon like the player. It is also available for purchase in the Pokeathlon Dome on Monday, Friday and Saturday.

  Acquire yellow apricorns in Violet City or Routes 8, 42 and 46. The Pokeathlon Dome sells yellow apricorns on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Yellow apricorns can create the Moon Ball, which shows the most success when used on Pokemon that evolve through Moon Stones.

  Take all apricorns to Kurt in Azalea Town. While Kurt creates Pokeballs for the player for free, players must wait one day for the creation of custom Pokeballs. Return to Kurt the next day to collect a Pokeball.
