How to Forget HM Moves in Pokemon SoulSilver

HM moves are special attacks that Hidden Machines teach your Pokemon in the Nintendo DS game "Pokemon SoulSilver." Each of these moves also has an application outside of battle. For example, the Fly move executes a flying attack when used in battle and allows you to fly between previously visited cities when used outside of battle. It is possible to get a Pokemon to forget an HM move by taking it to the Move Deleter in Blackthorn City.

Instructions

  Teach the move that you want to delete to another one of your Pokemon. You can delete a Hidden Machine move only if another one of your other Pokemon knows it.

  Go to Blackthorn City in the northeast of Johto. Go into the house to the left of the Pokemon Center.

  Speak to the man on the far left of the room, and he will introduce himself as the Move Deleter.

  Choose the Pokemon and the move you want to delete and press "A" to confirm. The Pokemon will forget the selected move.
