How to Get an Axe in Rune Factory

Like farmers in real life, you will need a set of tools to work on your farm in the game "Rune Factory." You will unlock some of the tools yourself, but the rest you will get from nonplayer characters (NPCs) such as Mist at the beginning of the game. One tool you will get from a NPC is the axe. The purpose of the axe is to help you chop branches and stumps. In the beginning of "Rune Factory," you can talk to Bianca to get the axe.

Instructions

  Start a new save file in "Rune Factory." Your character will stumble upon Mist and will beg her for food and water. Mist will misunderstand and give you the watering can and hoe. She will let you borrow a farm. To get you started, she will ask you to do a couple of tasks.

  Do the various tasks to complete the tutorial. You will start the game on Spring 1st at 7:00 a.m. Plant your seeds in the field and explore Kardia Village. Since today is a holiday, all shops and businesses are closed. Speak to any villagers wandering around.

  Go to sleep in your farmhouse. Your character will wake up on Monday, Spring 2nd. Head to Jasper's mansion, which is east of the Plaza entrance. In the mansion, you will experience an event.

  Talk to Bianca after the event is over. After she introduces herself to you, she will give you the axe as a present. You can equip this axe to chop branches and stumps.
