Stroll around your town, picking up shells and fossils. Shake a few trees and collect the apples. Take all of the items to Tom Nook's store and sell them. Tom will give you bells that you can use to purchase items in his store.
Spend 25,000 bells on items in Tom Nook's store. Some items to buy include a fishing pole, shovel and seeds for planting trees and flowers. The store will then grow in size. It's name will also change to "Nook n' Go."
Note: You won't be able to accomplish this all in one day.
Sell more items to Tom Nook to obtain additional bells to purchase even more items. Consider buying medicine, a slingshot and a butterfly net. When you have spent a total of 90,000 bells, the store will grow again. This time, the store's name will become "Nookway."
Repeat the process of selling items in order to obtain enough bells to make purchases in Nookway.
Invite a friend over to your town. You will need a friend that also has a Nintendo DS and an "Animal Crossing: Wild World" game. Both you and your friend must be near a Wi-Fi connection. The friend must then enter Nookway and make a purchase.
Receive your final store upgrade after spending a total of 240,000 bells. Some items to purchase include a futon, flying saucer and a bed. The store's name will change from "Nookway" to "Nookington's," and will remain that name for the rest of the game's life.
