How to Get to Jasmine in Pokémon SoulSilver at the Lighthouse

When you arrive in Olivine City in the Nintendo DS game, "Pokemon SoulSilver," you find that you cannot battle the Pokemon Gym Leader Jasmine as she is locked at the top of the town's lighthouse. You need to get to the top of the lighthouse without using the elevator to speak to Jasmine and set up your next Pokemon Gym battle. There are a number of trainers to battle while you're climbing the lighthouse.

Instructions

  Go to the Lighthouse in the southeastern corner of Olivine City and head inside.

  Climb the stairs to the fourth floor, battling past the Bird Trainer and Sailor trainers as you go.

  Go to the east side of the fourth floor and walk to where you see some light shining in. Although you can't actually see it, there is a door here -- walk through it to get to the outside of the lighthouse.

  Drop down to the ledge on the third floor and go inside. Climb up the ladders inside to the sixth floor and you'll find Jasmine. She'll unlock the elevator door so you don't have to take the long way up in future.
