Mole's secret tunnel in "Fossil Fighters" does not become available until you have completed the game once. The area of the mine in Rivet Ravine where Mole's secret tunnel is located is locked until the three brains in Guhnash are defeated and you set up an oasis in the desert, marking the end of the game's storyline. Getting to the tunnel when it becomes available is challenging --- without the right instructions in hand, you can easily get lost in the mine's labyrinth.

Travel to Rivet Ravine and enter the mines. Descend into the mines using the tunnel farthest to the right.

Follow this tunnel until you reach an intersection. At the intersection, take the northern path.

Follow this tunnel until you hit a wall. Turn left at the wall, then continue down the path.

Follow this path until you reach a ladder. Use the ladder to descend into Mole's secret tunnel.
