How to Download Pokemon SoulSilver

The Mystery Gift feature in "Pokemon SoulSilver" allows players to download exclusive legendary event Pokemon. Examples of the super-powered Pokemon given as gifts through Mystery Gift Wi-Fi downloads include Celebi, Mew and Deoxys. Without using the Mystery Gift downloading feature, there is no way to obtain these extremely rare Pokemon in "Pokemon SoulSilver." Downloading one of these exotic Pokemon takes moments and gives your team a special edge over your opponents.

Instructions

  Power on your Nintendo DS with "Pokemon SoulSilver" inserted, and select the Mystery Gift option from the main menu. You must be standing within the Pokemon Event's Wi-Fi area so your DS console can receive a signal.

  Choose the Receive Gift selection once your Nintendo DS connects to the local Wi-Fi signal and use the Get Via Wireless option. The Pokemon will then be downloaded to your "Pokemon SoulSilver" saved game.

  Deposit a Pokemon into your PC, to make room for your downloaded Pokemon. You will need one slot out of your party of six empty to redeem your downloaded Pokemon.

  Enter a Pokemart location, and talk to the delivery man standing beside the counter. He will give you the Pokemon you downloaded. Save your game once you receive your special downloaded Pokemon, to keep it forever.
