How Do I Go Through the Maze to the Temple on Goron Island in Zelda?

Before you can tackle Goron Temple in "The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass," you must navigate an elaborate maze. After earning the Gorons' trust, they will allow you to access the maze. Gongoron, the son of the Goron elder, is supposed to lead you to the temple, but he runs away when you approach the structure. When you follow him, you'll arrive at a dead end, leaving you to make your way through the maze alone.

Instructions

    • 1

Go north and around to the dead end where Gongoron disappeared. Blow up the two wall cracks with Bomb Flowers. Proceed through the left hole.

    • 2

Continue around to the south. Defeat the Blue Chu-Chu and start moving west. Defeat the Rock Chu-Chu. Step on the switch to lower the spikes. Return to the pair of holes you created at the start of the maze.

    • 3

Go through the right side this time. You'll have to destroy two more cracks to proceed. Eliminate the Rock Chu-Chu with the Bomb Flower to the north. Use it again to blast a hole in the wall.

    • 4

Continue along the path, defeating the Chu-Chus you encounter. Grab the Big Green Rupee from the chest at the end and then return to the east. Find the place where the path forks north. Bomb the wall in front of the circle on the other side.

    • 5

Proceed through to the west and go south. To the east, find a Power Gem in a chest. Return to the west and go down the cliff. Defeat the Like-Like, causing the spikes to drop. Continue through to reach Goron Temple.
