In "Pokemon SoulSilver" for the Nintendo DS, users do not delete a save file through the game's option menu. Instead, it requires pressing a set of buttons at the same time. When this is done during a certain part of the "SoulSilver" opening screen, the save file is deleted. Remember, that means that all Pokemon you captured and all parts of the story completed are lost forever.
