How to Unlock Wizpig in Diddy Kong Racing for the DS

"Diddy Kong Racing DS" has you competing in a series of races to regain control of Diddy's island paradise. It has been taken over by a giant space pig named Wizpig, If you can beat Wizpig, which is tricky, you can unlock the evil creature and make him a playable character. First you have to complete the entire game in the regular adventure mode, which will unlock a new mode. At that point you'll still need to complete the second adventure mode to unlock Wizpig.

  Complete the game in "Adventure 1" mode to unlock "Adventure 2" mode. You will have to collect all of the amulet pieces while getting a gold medal in each of the races.

  Start a game in "Adventure 2" mode, which is more difficult. Silver coins are in different positions along the tracks; you must collect all of them while also winning the race itself to complete the challenge. Play through the rest of this mode until you reach the final race.

  Win the final race against Wizpig at the end of the "Future Fun Land" level to end the game. This will also unlock Wizpig as a playable character. The strategy for this race will be the same as in "Adventure 1" mode, except Wizpig will be faster. Pick up the speed boosts whenever possible, preferably on the straight paths, to increase the distance you can cover. If Wizpig gets ahead of you, shoot him with rockets until he falls off the track, otherwise it's almost impossible to pass him. You need to run this race almost flawlessly to win. Even then, it may take several attempts.
