How to Get Ballroom Mode in Princess Debut

Your character trades places with the princess of the Flower Kingdom in the Nintendo DS game "Princess Debut." Once the switch is made, you have 30 days to practice dancing and find a partner for the Ball of Saint-Lyon. Your character must choose among six princes to take to the ball. The game focuses not just on perfecting your dancing, but on fostering good relationships with the princes through a variety of innocuous activities. The game features a bonus ballroom mode, in which you dance to beat certain scores in a tournament-style setup.

  Select "Story Mode." "Princess Debut" has four modes of play: Practice, Story, Movie and Ballroom. All of the costumes and songs that you unlock throughout the game are available in Practice and Movie modes, which is what makes these modes compelling, but you cannot unlock Ballroom Mode unless you go through Story Mode.

  Complete Story Mode at least once. You must successfully dance to 20 songs to finish Story Mode. The game is designed so you will want to return to Story Mode to choose different partners and enjoy the songs, but one time through will unlock Ballroom Mode.

  Go to the main menu. "Ballroom Mode" will now be listed along with the other three modes of gameplay.
