How to Get Lots of Trainer Points on Nintendogs

"Nintendogs" is a pet simulation game for the Nintendo DS that boasts hundreds of hours of gameplay from walking, feeding and training your Nintendog to do tricks. To earn more in the game, the player must accrue trainer points. This can be done by completing certain tasks such as bathing your dog or having it perform tricks. By performing both higher paying and quicker tasks, you will be able to earn lots of trainer points in Nintendogs.

  Walk your dog to earn between 75 and 200 trainer points. The points generated are essentially random but can be higher if the walk goes more smoothly.

  Win a contest. This is a longer process than most ways to obtain trainer points, but if you do everything right -- such as grooming and walking -- you will earn 100 points.

  Brush your dog, and play with it. You will earn one to three points every minute for brushing, and one to three points every five minutes for playing. Brushing your dog while watching television or some other activity will net you points while multitasking.
