How to Get the Hard Leather Straps for Avatar on GameCube

"Avatar: The Last Airbender" for the GameCube is based on the children's TV show of the same name. You take on the role of Eng, the titular Avatar and the hero of the game. One of the quests you must accomplish in order to proceed with the game involves bringing five hardened leather strips to Appa, Eng's flying bison. This will give you a saddle and enable you to fly on Appa.

      Collect five leather strips and five honey items. These items can be found either by killing enemies or by looting pots and chests.

      Take your leather strips and honey items to the old woman merchant in the central market area.

    • 3

      Give the items to the old woman. She will take one leather strip and one honey item and make one hardened leather strip. Do this with all five strips and honey items to receive five hardened leather strips.
