How to Get Hidden Vocations in Dragon Quest IX

"Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies" is a game available exclusively on the Nintendo DS system. In Dragon Quest IX, you begin by creating your own hero to venture through the game as one of an angelic race of guardians sworn to protect the mortal realm. You can customize your hero's sex, face, hair and style. There are hidden vocations available in the game, but first you must complete all the tasks required.

  Complete the Mage Knight quest by having your mage use Wizard Ward and deal the final blow on two Metal Slimes.

  Complete the Gladiator quest by killing three slimes while in Super High Tension mode using Dragon Slash.

  Complete the Ranger quest by killing three Hocus Chimeras using the Toxic Dagger poison.

  Complete the Paladin quest by using the Whipping Boy to block 10 attacks for one of your teammates.

  Complete the Sage quest by reading from the castle bookshelf then killing five Great Trolls with Frizz.

  Complete the Luminary quest by killing two Moai Ministers using the Hotlick skill.
