Ensure that you use the Action Replay DSi properly. The device must be inserted into the DSi into the DSi system. Turn on the system. A message will appear urging the player to remove the Action Replay device and replace it with a game card. Follow all on-screen instructions.
Wait for any error codes to appear while the Action Replay device is connected to the system. Errors of "Unknown Game," "Load Failed" or no recognition of the game's insertion at all may indicate that the Action Replay was not programmed to give codes for that game. It may also indicate a counterfeit game.
Turn off the Nintendo DSi system and remove the Action Replay DSi accessory if you see errors such as "No Game Pak inserted." Examine the back of the Action Replay DSi card. If you see visible grime or contamination, use a soft, dry cloth or cotton swab to gently remove it. Reinsert the Action Replay DSi accessory into the system. Turn on the system.

You may have to pay for a replacement if your product is no longer covered under a warranty.
