How to Get Totodile with an Action Replay in Pokemon Diamond

Totodile, a starter Pokemon that resembles a baby crocodile, is native to the Johto region found in the "Pokemon Gold," "Crystal" and "Silver" games. In "Pokemon Diamond," you journey to the Sinnoh region, where no Totodiles live. If you want a Totodile, you must use an Action Replay device. This device lets you enter a special code that transforms any wild Pokemon into a Totodile. It is then possible to capture the Totodile and add it to your collection.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert the Action Replay cartridge into Slot 1 of the Nintendo DS. Insert the "Pokemon Diamond" game into the Action Replay game slot.

    • 2

Turn on the Nintendo DS. Select "Pokemon Diamond" and then select the "Add New Code" option at the top of the code list.

    • 3

Name the code "Totodile." Enter "94000130 fffb0000" in the first line, "d5000000 0000009e" in the second and "b21c4d28 00000000" in the third. Enter "b0000004 00000000," "c0000000 0000000b" and "d7000000 00024620" on the fourth, fifth and sixth lines. On the last two lines, enter "dc000000 00000006" and "d2000000 00000000."

    • 4

Tap "Next" to save the code. Tap the code to activate it and then tap "Start." Your "Pokemon Diamond" game loads.

    • 5

Hold the "Select" button and walk around in tall grass until a wild Pokemon attacks. A Totodile appears to fight you. Capture it by throwing a Poke Ball at it after you have lowered its HP.
